Ofsted Report for Waltham Holy Cross Primary School (Pre-Academisation)
Monitoring Visit Final Report January 2019
What Ofsted say about Waltham Holy Cross:
“Children in the early years are happy and know the routines well.”
“Leaders and teachers have developed effective partnerships with parents and carers. The new system for recording children’s development allows teachers to share with parents information about their child’s learning. Many parents contribute to their child’s learning record, enabling teachers to gain a bigger picture of what children can do. This has had a positive impact on increasing parental engagement.”
What Ofsted says about NET Academies Trust:
“Strong and purposeful leadership is galvanising staff, raising expectations and transforming the culture of the school. Other senior leaders share your ambitious vision for the school."
OFSTED 2018
“The executive headteacher has made an enormous contribution to the improvements in this school in the two and a half years that she has been in post. She uses the ‘fire in her belly’ and her very high aspirations to continually and doggedly pursue excellence in every aspect of school life. The executive headteacher has a very clear vision for the future development of the school, based on a thorough understanding of what works in education and how children learn.” OFSTED 2017
